It’s an Ultra HD DLP display that projects an image up to 150 inches diagonal while sitting just 16.7 inches out from the screen. It supports HDR and includes an Android TV interface with thousands of streaming options that can be enjoyed through the projector’s built-in Wi-Fi. With slick styling and solid build quality, it presents an impressive package for just $2499.
Recently, I was approached by a startup called Vava and asked if I’d like to review their new ultra-short throw projector. With a laser light engine and Ultra HD resolution with HDR, I quickly responded to their offer of a review sample. It’s here now and so far, I’m impressed. The unit seems quite solidly built and its styling is just the thing for the modern living room. You can set it on a stand or AV bench right below your screen and enjoy an image up to 150 inches in size. Three HDMI 2.0 inputs support the latest sources, or just connect to your Wi-Fi network to enjoy thousands of streaming options like Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube.
This promises to be an interesting experience as I’ve never reviewed an ultra-short throw projector before. Stay tuned for my full article which should be completed shortly.
