The new 700 Series speakers from Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) were debuted in September 2017 to supersede their long-running CM series.

This series is placed below the 800 Series Diamond range in the B&W home audio speakers lineup, but incorporates some of the 800 Series technologies, such as the Continuum Cone midrange and Aerofoil profile bass drivers. Additionally, B&W also implements new technologies in the 700 Series speakers including a Carbon Dome tweeter and solid body tweeter housing.

For this review B&W sent us 5.1 speaker configuration which includes; 702 S2 floorstanding, 705 S2 bookshelf speakers, an HTM71 center channel, and a DB4S subwoofer, all in rosenut finish. These speakers have a solid built quality and look elegant and gorgeous. Although good quality and looks alone do not make a good speaker, my initial listening impression on these speakers is very positive, suggesting that these speakers can indeed produce beautiful sound.
