I am currently reviewing the 301s, which fit nicely with a wall-mounted TV up to 60 inches. The 302s are aimed at the 65 inch and bigger screen sizes. You can order optional speaker stands if you are not interested in mounting them onto your walls. These speakers incorporate two 4-inch Flax speaker drivers with a 1-inch aluminum/magnesium tweeter in a D’Apollito array. They come with magnetic grilles and look great with them on or off. You also get a choice of gloss white or piano black to help them blend into your decor. An installation template is provided and includes all the mounting hardware you need for a quick and clean install.

They work well with the other Focal speakers from the 300 Series, Aria, or Flax Dome to create an entire Home Cinema system. From my initial listening, these speakers can run rings around a typical soundbar and can be paired with a subwoofer, or not. They produce pretty good bass on their own. I’ll have a full review of the Focal On-Wall 301s and stands ready to go in the near future.
