Cary Audio SI-300.2D Integrated Amplifier Review

Cary Audio attempts to provide tube-like sound from their newest 300 watts-per-channel solid-state integrated amplifier. In some aspects, I think they’ve succeeded. It sports a Class A preamplifier section with a well-built power amplifier. A premium-quality, and very versatile DAC is also included.

Naim Supernait 2 Integrated Amplifier

1983. The compact disc is introduced and record companies everywhere rejoice at the prospect of selling everyone worse sounding versions of music they already own. The universe, however, seeks a balance. The same year, Naim unleashes the first Nait integrated amplifier and the product category is never the same. The runtish, low-powered amplifier was controversial on many fronts, but its astonishing degree of musicality was never in dispute. The Naim Supernait 2 integrated amplifier does not deviate from their unique path that began more than three decades ago.

Parasound has been making their Halo line of products for quite a few years now, but they are not one to make updates for the sake of change. Their A21 and A51 amplifiers have been unchanged since they debuted and remain a mainstay. The A 31, reviewed here, is a three-channel (250 watts x 3) power amplifier.
