Lawrence, Kansas – April 30, 2019 – MartinLogan is proud to announce demonstrations of their flagship Neolith hybrid electrostatic loudspeakers for four days at High End 2019 in Munich, Germany. High End, which runs from May 9–12, is the world’s largest audio exhibition, features over 500 audio companies from around the globe.
The MartinLogan Neolith is the culmination of over 30 years of MartinLogan passion, engineering innovation, and dedication to the ultimate truth in sound. Winner of Product of the Year awards from The Absolute Sound, TONEAudio, Everything Audio Network, and other prestigious audio/video publications, Neolith is one of the most captivating loudspeakers ever brought to market. Neolith features MartinLogan’s largest electrostatic radiating surface, 35 percent larger than the legendary Statement E2 electrostatic loudspeaker. Neolith also features two substantial woofers. The front-firing 12-inch mid-bass woofer boasts a low moving mass relative to its size. On the back of the Neolith is a 15-inch bass woofer playing beneath 60Hz. Neolith’s exclusive advanced-topology Vojtko™ Crossover uses hand-selected components to optimize power handling.
MartinLogan is powering the Neolith using a Pass Labs XP-22 preamplifier, XP-27 phono stage, and X600.8 amplifier. Music is being provided using an EMM Labs XDS1 V3 CD/SACD player and DA2 reference D/A converter with an Aurender W20 music server. Additionally, analog demonstrations are being provided using an HW-40 Limited Anniversary Turntable with an Audio Technica ART-1000 cartridge. In addition to their Z-Powerbar II, cabling provided by MIT includes Oracle SHD interconnects and phono interface, Oracle jumpers, AES EBU XLR cables, and ACC 169 speaker interface cables. Shunyata is providing power cables.
