Starke Sound Brings 7 Channels of Raw Power

August 2017—Carson, CA — Starke Sound sets a new standard with the A7 Mark II seven-channel power amplifier, capable of delivering up to 240 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 480Wpc into 4 ohms. Every channel is truly independent, with its own thermal-management system, power supply, and fully balanced topology.

The A7 Mark II’s extremely high-biased design maintains class-A operation for nearly any musical or audio signal. The amp slides into class-AB only at extremely high output levels—typically, well below 1% of the time with most content. The A7’s proprietary, thermally controlled fans turn on only when high power output is demanded, ensuring that the amplifier will perform within the optimal range of temperature required to produce powerful, high-quality audio output.

The A7 Mark II’s architecture is modular: with the loosening of just a few screws, each monoblock can be removed and serviced individually, thus eliminating the need to return the entire unit for maintenance. The fan array is optimized for efficient operation, and its placement on the underside of the chassis permits easy access and service.

The A7 produces extremely low levels of distortion, and is designed to easily handle the demands of today’s home entertainment systems.
