The Basics:
Following the success of the Acoustic Zen Crescendo, the Crescendo Mark II is now the replacement and has been for several years. The improvements are intended to keep the Mark II competitive in the under $30,000.00 loudspeaker market, which has been steadily becoming more crowded every year.
The Rundown:
Acoustic Zen’s Dr. Robert Lee has taken the wonderful Acoustic Zen Crescendo MK I to the MK II and made this speaker even better in several areas. Updates are claimed to have increased the speaker’s linearity, and reinforced cabinets are said to have lowered the already low resonance on the Acoustic Zen MK I.
This is a speaker for those who want a very linear sound with diverse amplification options. It is billed as a loudspeaker that welcomes solid state and tubes. In addition, diverse genres of music are welcome as well, so there should be many who find this loudspeaker to fit their musical playlists.

This is the first product from Acoustic Zen that we have had a chance to review here at SECRETS. The Acoustic Zen Crescendo MK II has, on my initial impressions, produced a captivating level of musicality. In addition, amplifier interface diversity revealed that this speaker can perform in different ways with simple amplifier selections.
Be on the lookout for our full review to drop on the SECRETS website in the coming weeks.
