This was one of those times.
Ever since the Lumina Line was released, it was top of my list of speakers that I not only wanted to hear and review but potentially own. I had modest dreams; I was looking at the bookshelf models.
And then I was offered the Lumina V Amator. The Amator is like an upgrade to the existing Lumina V. It is a 3-way floor-standing loudspeaker system with a vented box design.
Lumina V Amator boasts an upgraded crossover network at 2.85 kHz, up 250 Hz from the original Lumina V. The bass crossover is 260 Hz. Which means the midrange driver is doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
The Lumina CI is a low-profile center speaker that is also a vented box design. It also comes fitted with a rubber pad at the bottom to help decouple it from whatever surface it sits on.
Both are gorgeous pieces of living room-friendly Hifi / High-end furniture.
