Just back from the 2012 CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association) trade show, I'm joined by Secrets of Home Theater senior editor Chris Heinonen, Home Theater senior editor Tom Norton, and freelance journalist Geoff Morrison to talk about what we saw and heard at the show, including 4K flat panels, projectors, screens, soundbars, speakers, and plenty of other goodies to make any home theater geek drool!

Geoff Morrison is a freelance writer based in Los Angeles. Former Editor in Chief of Home Entertainment magazine and Technical Editor of Home Theater magazine, he now writes reviews and features for CNET, Sound+Vision magazine (where he's also Contributing Technical Editor), Residential Systems magazine, TheWirecutter.com, HDGuru.com, and BigPictureBigSound.com. He's written articles for Men's Journal, Popular Photography, PC World, Robb Report, Channel Guide, and many others.
Tom Norton has held a lifelong interest in audio, including a brief flirtation with his own small, irregular, miniscule-circulation audio review publication, leading him to begin writing freelance for Stereophile magazine in 1986. In 1990, he moved to Santa Fe, NM, to work full time for Stereophile as Technical Editor and then Consulting Technical Editor. When the Stereophile Guide to Home Theater was launched in 1995, Tom also served as Technical Editor of that publication, writing for both SGHT and Stereophile. In 1999, he took over as editor of SGHT, continuing in that capacity as SGHT morphed first into Ultimate AV and then went online-only in 2004. In 2008, he moved over to become Senior Editor and Video Technical Editor for Home Theater magazine.
Chris Heinonen has been with Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity since 2008. He also serves as Displays Editor at AnandTech.com and as a writer for Tone Audio. Previously a software engineer, he is also a full time dad to Sam, 2, and Max, 6 months.
