The fact is, most smartphones aren’t really very good music players, and since our readers are audiophiles who are looking for more than the mundane, I took a deep dive into the FiiO flagship DAP, the M15. It’s equipped with about every feature you could want in a portable player, including an Android OS (that can be bypassed) and access to Android streaming apps. It can also be used as a DAC and it has a hefty amplifier so it can drive difficult headphones.

Mel Martin
