The Haydn SE Signature speakers feature an improved version of Vienna Acoustics’ patented spidercone X3P woofer featuring increased output, extension, and control. The X3P woofers are formed from three additional polymers in their composition, which is claimed to provide a wider bandwidth while possessing a level of inner detail, quietness, and control.
On the tweeter front, the Haydn SE Signature speakers incorporate a hand-coated silk dome, which is claimed to reveal even the slightest nuances with natural ease, while extending well down into the midrange regions.
They have made further advancements with the crossover networks, along with the cabinet construction and finish. I can attest that the cabinets are definitely inert and quite lovely!
The Haydn SE Signature speakers are rather smallish two-way speakers that would be suitable for nearfield applications, but they are more at home in a small room system. They have excellent fit and finish. I really like the look of my Rosewood review samples.
Despite being small in size, Vienna Acoustics really wants to paint the picture that they sound larger than they are.
I have been using them in a 3.1 system while I break them in, and I will be moving them to a two-channel setup for most of my serious analysis. I’ll let you know how big they really sound in my final review.

Our own Yongki Go reviewed the Vienna Acoustics Beethoven Baby Grand speakers in 2022. These are one step up from the Haydn SE Signatures. You can read about Yongki’s impressions here – Vienna Acoustics Beethoven Baby Grand Reference Speakers Review – HomeTheaterHifi.com
Even though I have been breaking them in on a small theater setup, I have been impressed that these speakers can hang in there even at fairly high SPLs. They have been sounding so great, I can hardly wait to get them into a two-channel system to really evaluate their musical chops.
I plan to test them with an ARCAM SA 45 integrated amplifier as well as a Marantz Model 10 integrated amplifier that I just got in. Check back soon for my full and complete breakdown on the Vienna Acoustics Haydn SE Signature speakers.
