Mistelbach, Austria – July 30, 2024 – Pro-Ject Audio Systems is proud to announce the latest edition to the Debut Series, Debut PRO B. It enhances the design of its very well-received predecessor, Debut PRO. Two main additions bring listeners closer to the True Balanced experience: a balanced mini XLR output and the Pick it PRO Balanced moving magnet phono cartridge, which is the first of its kind. From the turntable, a mini XLR > mini XLR cable (sold separately) connects directly to the mini XLR input of Phono Box S3 B, Phono Box DS3 B or Tube Box DS3 B. Users can also use a mini XLR > standard XLR cable to connect to either DS3 B model or the Reference Series Phono Box RS2.

All customers’ favorite features from the Debut PRO are still in rotation with the Debut PRO B. An 8.6” carbon-on-aluminum arm tube, a massive tonearm bearing block, a precision-machined diecast TPE-damped aluminum platter, an anti-resonant sub-platter, a sophisticated DC/AC power generator and TPE-damped height-adjustable metal feet all propel the impressive sound quality the turntable is known for. Finished with nickel-plated trimmings and an eight-coat satin black paint job, it looks as good as it sounds. Users can run it balanced and hear it for themselves – the improvement is not subtle.

Pro-JectAbout Pro-Ject

Pro-Ject Audio Systems was founded by one of Austria’s leading high-end audio distributors, Heinz Lichtenegger in early 1991. A genuine music lover and a dyed-in-the-wool audiophile, Heinz challenged the common “cost-no-object” approach to analog audio equipment by manufacturing turntables, tonearms and accessories at a reasonable price without compromising build quality or sonic performance. With his passion for high-end audio fueling a desire to take a familiar industry in a new direction, Heinz proceeded to use Pro-Ject Audio Systems as a locomotive to bring high-end gear to the masses. By adhering to that philosophy while still only using quality electronic components that deliver sound that far exceeds their stature, the engineers at Pro-Ject redefined what is possible in high-end audio and demonstrated that great things do come in small packages.
