MENLO PARK, California – June 15, 2016 – At the recently concluded 2016 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by AT&T, OPPO Digital’s BDT-101CI Blu-ray Disc Transport played a key role in handling professional video playback for many screening rooms and theaters.
To ensure reliable and accurate playback of TFF’s many film submissions, TFF 2016’s technical team decided to support the primary distribution in DCP (Digital Cinema Package) with Blu-ray. This required that the Blu-ray disc player selected for such an important event must be accurate, reliable, flexible and easy to use.
TFF’s technical team opted for OPPO Blu-ray players, citing their premium–quality, durability, and technically flexible design as the selection criteria. The newly released OPPO BDT-101CI, with its robust industrial design and OPPO’s renowned quality, fit TFF’s requirements perfectly. The BDT-101CI’s modular design enabled the team to connect one HDMI output to a preview monitor, and the second through an Image Pro II switcher to the main screen.
