Musical Fidelity, founded by Antony Michaelson, has always sought to reproduce music with true warmth and musicality, bringing the full range of colours and dynamics of live concerts into the home.

MF therefore always produced tube products or Class A products, which are the best choice, but with some compromises in terms of heat and size.

The second-best choice was to produce true transistor-based products using Class A/B technology, which comes closest to the above.

To keep the sound as warm and transparent as possible, MF realised that digital circuits are especially critical for analogue signals in amplifiers. (See MF’s 20 rules for making an amplifier).

Therefore: We decided not to include streaming on purpose. Because:
