I’ve reviewed a number of Sony TVs and projectors during the past 15 years and have always found that they deliver a lot for the money. Imagery is top-shelf with feature lists that are long and comprehensive.

The BRAVIA 5 65XR50 is just $1,500 but offers as much as many more-expensive displays, while coming very near their level of performance. I look forward to putting the 65XR50 through its paces in instrumented and viewing tests.
