Peachtree Audio was founded in 2007 by a small group of industry professionals that embraced the personal computer (PC) as a source of high-performance audio and viewed “streaming” as the future of music delivery and enjoyment. Unwilling to compromise sound quality for the convenience of using a PC as a source, Peachtree conceived of a new type of product; an integrated amplifier with a built-in USB input and digital-to-analog converter to accept digital connection from a PC. The ground-breaking decco, and the original nova that followed, were a success and established Peachtree Audio as a brand that bridged the gap between high-fidelity and high-tech.
