Control4 Hosts 800 Dealers across 12 Cities in Live Launch Events for the New EA Series Controller

Salt Lake City, UT – January 27, 2016 – Control4 Corporation (NASDAQ: CTRL) announced their next generation of entertainment and automation controllers, the EA Series, during 12 live dealer events across the United States and Canada, alongside an online live stream.

Nearly 800 dealers gathered in New York City, Atlanta, Miami, Indianapolis, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Toronto and Vancouver to learn about the EA Series and how to leverage it to attract new customers and upgrade their customer base. Control4 also incorporated product training sessions into each of the live events, as the controllers are shipping to dealers immediately.

“The EA-1 is going to open up many business opportunities for many dealers,” said Michael Christon of Certified Custom Integrators. “The price point is very attractive at $600 with a remote control, I can see this taking customers away from the DIY market, so we can get back in there, sell the solution and expand upon it.”

Hank Lehmann of Connect One Security attended the Houston, Texas live event and described the new lineup as a “game-changer.”

To kick off the online streaming event, Control4 CEO Martin Plaehn introduced the three controllers as its, “newest and best,” before VP of Solutions, Paul Williams, took over to give over 1,000 live viewers a closer look at the entertainment and automation line. Williams explained how the EA-1, EA-3 and EA-5 will serve as, “the next smart home platform” and shared details on new built-in features, like high-resolution audio across the lineup.

“No longer do you need to add expensive music players to enjoy high-resolution clarity,” said Kordon Vaughn, Senior Director of Controllers. “Our mission has been to make music in every room sound better.”
