ARCAM Radia A25 Integrated Amplifier and ST5 Streamer Unboxing

The new ARCAM Radia A25 integrated amp and ST5 streamer arrived at my doorstep for a full review. In the meantime though, let’s do a little unboxing and see what we’ve got!

Introduction:

Back in October, our EIC, Carlo Lo Raso joined some other select North American audio press folks for a junket to London, England expressly for the launch of ARCAM’s new Radia line of gear.  You can read more about Carlo’s take on the entire affair right here.

The launch revealed ARCAM’s initial salvo of components:

  • The A5 Integrated Amplifier (50 watts/channel): $699.00
  • The A15 Integrated Amplifier (80 watts/channel): $1,099.00
  • The A25 Integrated Amplifier (100 watts/channel): $1,499.00
  • The CD5 CD Player: $699.00
  • The ST5 Streamer: $799.00

After reading about the event and seeing the photos, I immediately knew that I wanted to review at least one of these components. Carlo must like me a lot because he was able to work his magic with the powers-that-be at HARMAN and ARCAM and here I am with the flagship A25 integrated amp and ST5 streamer.

So, I plan to give this gear a thorough rundown and will have a full review to share with you soon. For now, however, join me for a little unboxing teaser, just to give you a better sense of what we have with these two gorgeous components.

And by the way, don’t forget to subscribe to the SECRETS YouTube channel so that you can be notified when my full review lands online.
