But more importantly, this new flagship has premium audio hardware, like an ESS9023P Sabre DAC and Qualcomm QCC3040 aptX HD Bluetooth chip. With more surprises inside, let’s jump right into this review!

Setup

Setup is achieved using the 4STREAM app. It’s not my favorite, but it works for most streaming services, or you can use Bluetooth 5.2. The onboard Qualcomm QCC3040 aptX HD Bluetooth chip is well worth upgrading to the H50. The amp will tell you to connect to Wi-Fi, like constantly if you don’t. I have said before that in compact all-in-one units like this, the back side can become cramped with too many cables. The H50 is a bit bigger and taller than it looks so unless you’re filling every connection, it’s not cramped at all. There is a phono input which is incredible to see, along with a subwoofer output. The $399 asking price seems steep at first, but once you see everything that is included, the value really outshines the price. Also don’t forget to connect the two antennas for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the back.

In Use

With so many inputs and outputs I couldn’t try everything out and you probably won’t use everything on this unit anyway. There is just so much packed in the H50, it’s crazy. Now I kinda expected Arylic to add some more power for the higher asking price, but it remains at 50 watts a channel. The overall sound is an improvement over the B50, the ESS9023P Sabre DAC chip is a welcome addition. It sounds very much like an Arylic unit, if you have heard them before, you know it has clean power and plenty of it. The amp sounds like it has loads of power, but it can be a bit airy at times and harsh in the highs compared to other desktop amps I have heard.

The large 2.23-inch screen is a nice touch, but it is very basic in use and UI. But it is clear and easy to read, even from afar. The only thing on the front I do not like is the volume, it goes 0-100 but doesn’t stop at every number, so for example it goes 18, 21, 24, and so on. The volume adjustment isn’t as precise as I would like it to be. The face of the unit is very clean, with an on/off switch, screen, and volume knob. It will look great anywhere you put it.

The H50 has so many features built-in, it will likely last through years of upgrades. Want to upgrade the audio on a TV, HDMI input, boom, done. Add a turntable later? No problem. Want to transmit Bluetooth to your headphones? It has a Bluetooth transmitter built in. The H50 is the real Swiss Army knife of the audio world.

Conclusions

Arylic H50 Wireless Stereo Amplifier

For when you really, really want everything packed into one unit, the Arylic H50 Wireless Stereo Amplifier totally shines. It’s compact, decently powerful, and sells for a reasonable price. I wish there were a bit more power, but it still sounds great. No matter what you want to achieve for your system, the H50 can deliver. And if you want to add in a turntable later or a sub, the H50 has you covered. The new Arylic H50 flagship outshines many other models that cost more, while still delivering great sound.
