4K displays are absolutely stunning and Sharp's was no exception. I can't wait for this technology to start moving towards the consumer space, but it is not just a matter of making the panels themselves feasible. We will also need new, more powerful scalers, to take 1080i and 1080p signals up to this new resolution.

Sharp's other technology demo was a "Mega Contrast" LCD. The "Mega Contrast" display is on the right and it certainly looks much better.
