The prototype 101X speaker system from MBL. They are some of the most unique-looking speaker designs I have seen. The sound experience was incredible. They played very loud, and it was as if the performance were live right in front of me.

The 101X's almost look like something out of a 60's science fiction movie! Not shown is the separate, equally tall, powered subwoofer.

The 9011 amplifier was a gargantuan beast itself. The power cords were as thick as the barrel of a baseball bat.
