Women in CE CEDIA EXPO 2013 Event Reaches Record Growth With New Levels of Attendance and Sponsorships

Sold-Out Networking Event Honored Volunteer of the Year Krista Bergman; Nicole Mangina, CEO of The Success Perspective, Delivered Keynote

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Oct. 3, 2013 — Women in Consumer Electronics (CE), an industry organization focused on empowering women, building networks, and supporting career opportunities in the consumer electronics industry, announced today that its fifth annual breakfast event at CEDIA EXPO 2013 broke all records of attendance and sponsorship support. The event brought practical career advice via an uplifting keynote address by Nicole Mangina, CEO of The Success Perspective, and recognized IAV Lightspeaker’s Krista Bergman with the organization’s Volunteer of the Year award.

Krista_Bergman-smTitled “Secrets to Being Successful in Business and Having a Life,” the keynote provided the sold-out audience with pragmatic tools for shattering the “ceiling of frustration” once and for all in order to earn more money, have more fun, and experience a more fulfilling personal life. The yearly function also added four new sponsors to its roster, making the breakfast gathering one of Women In CE’s largest annual events. With more than 220 industry professionals in attendance, the event has been branded as a must-attend CEDIA EXPO networking event.

“We look forward every year to our CEDIA EXPO event, and this year’s breakfast surpassed all expectations in terms of attendance, community, and empowerment for our members,” said Carol Campbell, founder of Women in CE. “It was a privilege to see so many members and guests turn out in support of our Volunteer of the Year, as well as listen to the thoughtful, insightful, and high-energy keynote delivered by Nicole Mangina. None of this would be possible without the continued support of our event sponsors, and we are grateful for their contributions.”
