SENCORE Releases Latest Version of ColorPro by CalMAN 3D Calibration Software

Key Features in Version 4.0 Include Added Grayscale/Gamma Calibration and Luminance Adjustment

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Feb. 1, 2010 — SENCORE, an engineering leader in high-quality signal transmission, today joined with partner SpectraCal to launch Version 4.0 of its CEDIA award-winning ColorPro by CalMAN 3D calibration software.

ColorPro by CalMAN 3D is an innovative combination of SpectraCal and SENCORE ColorPro software that enables the use of a laptop computer to manage the components and processes necessary to deliver accurate, fast, and glitch-free display calibration for optimal image quality. The software meets the needs of manufacturers, broadcast and production facilities, government installations, systems integrators, and professional calibrators.

New features in Version 4.0 include grayscale/gamma calibration with absolute red, green, and blue luminance analysis that guides the user simultaneously to white balance and gamma targets. Also new is luminance adjustment, which performs white-level analysis to optimize contrast for ambient light levels. Additional innovations include support for LED backlight display analysis, and easy integration with the latest Konica Minolta™ and Photo Research colorimeters.

SENCORE and SpectraCal have further enhanced ColorPro with the inclusion of more intuitive and consistent measurement charts as well as new, more useful options to the measurement graphs in the customer-printed calibration report.

“ColorPro by CalMAN’s extreme versatility allows it to configure display calibration systems to fulfill any and all application and performance requirements,” said Tom Stingley, SENCORE executive vice president of sales and marketing. “The intuitive software provides interface control of almost all popular luminance/color meters and test pattern sources, including the SENCORE VideoPro 300, 400, and 500 series generators, making it easy to ensure the best possible display.”
