Richard Gray's Power Co. Introduces 240V Versions of it's Classic RGPC 1200

Designed for exceedingly large projectors, plasma displays and other voraciously power-hungry electronics, the new RGPC 1220 and RGPC 1230 units allow installers to avoid plugging 240V electronics products directly into walls.

New Orleans, LA – December 18, 2008 – Richard Gray’s Power Company, LLC (RGPC), announces the addition of the RGPC 1220 and RGPC 1230 to its ever-expanding line of custom installation power management products. Both new models meet dealer demand for power management devices that offer non-sacrificial surge protection and a “blank slate” of on-demand AC power for projectors and plasma displays that require 240V connections.

Presently, many integrators plug expensive and massively power-hungry video devices directly into the wall, as they do not have access to a 240V power management solution. RGPC is changing the game with the RGPC 1220, which provides 12 240V 20-amp outlets that can protect and enhance nearly all 240V equipment. Another useful capability of the 1220 is its ability to provide power management and protection for a 240v/20-amp outlet that feeds an incoming 103-inch plasma display.

The RGPC 1230 provides power management and protection for top-of-the-line front projection home theater installations. The 1230 plugs directly into a 30-amp wall socket, and the 240v/30-amp projector plugs into the 1230, which then provides a constant supply of on-demand power, surge protection, and filtration to the projector, in order to ensure the consistent and flawless performance customers demand.

“Our introduction of the RGPC 1220 and 1230 is a direct result of feedback from our dealers and installers,” said RGPC President Rick Komendera. “With home theater electronics getting hungrier for power, it made sense to alter our stalwart RGPC 1200 with the necessary upgrades for 240V installations.”

MSRPs of the RGPC 1220 and 1230 are $2395
