NuVo Technologies Promotes Two

Chris Westfall named vice president, global sales; Desiree Webster named marketing manager.

Hebron, KY – October 21, 2009 NuVo Technologies, the value leader in whole home audio, has promoted two current employees to elevated positions of responsibility. The growing manufacturer named Chris Westfall, previously Vice President of Sales, USA, to head sales on a worldwide basis as Vice President, Global Sales. In addition, company veteran Desiree Webster was promoted to Marketing Manager.

“Since he arrived at NuVo last year, Chris Westfall has been a dynamic force in the marketplace on our behalf, particularly in terms of laying the groundwork for our upcoming Renovia whole home audio system for the retrofit marketplace,” said David Rodarte, president and chief operating officer of NuVo. “We are thrilled that Chris will now be heading sales on a global basis.”

Westfall has significant international experience. He previously managed international marketing and branding for consumer products company TIGI International, where he directed cross-functional teams in the U.S. and England, and developed a cohesive global strategy for the company’s distributors around the world. Westfall will emphasize NuVo’s outreach to Europe, Latin America and Asia.

“Desiree Webster,” continued Rodarte, “has ably taken the reins of our marketing and advertising efforts, which are now more important than ever for our company as we seek to dramatically expand the NuVo brand and support our growth plans in 2010 and beyond.”

Webster, who joined NuVo in 2005, has already played a crucial role in developing the brand and building the company’s leading identity in the marketplace. Now from her position as manager, she will lead NuVo’s marketing efforts to maximize the visibility and awareness of NuVo, and of whole home audio, especially with consideration to the newly available retro-fit market.
