Most A/V receivers available on the market today focus predominantly on the Video and Surround Sound aspects, leaving audio circuitry almost as an afterthought. NAD designers firmly believe that there are many people for whom music will always come first. With NAD’s reputation for high value / high performance, the T 748 was clearly developed to satisfy both Audiophiles and Videophiles.

“More than ever, the market is demanding value and for nearly forty years, value has been a hallmark of NAD.” commented Greg Stidsen, Director of Technology and Product Planning for NAD. “When designing for a competitive price point, any manufacturer has to make choices on where to prioritize performance vs features. In the case of the T 748, we chose performance and ease of use over bells and whistles and we believe that is what discriminating music and movie lovers want.”

Outstanding Video
The T 748 delivers outstanding video performance featuring the latest digital video technology, including 3D video at resolutions up to 1080p. Analog video, Audio Return Channel (ARC), and Consumer Electronic Control (CEC) are all supported on HDMI for simple integration with your digital video devices.

‘Music First’ Audio
Popular surround sound formats, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio, are decoded using the latest generation of high-speed DSP. Stereo source material can be converted to surround sound using the company’s exclusive EARS surround mode, praised by reviewers for its natural sound quality. With both music and movies, the T 748’s award-winning heritage demonstrates remarkable musicality with, depth, clarity and lifelike detail.

Easy Control and Command
NAD has designed a very simple user interface that is both flexible but very easy to use. Each source component retains the same custom settings every time it is selected for viewing, and there are no ‘empty inputs’ to clutter or confuse. In addition, five AV Presets allow custom setups for different types of program material (drama, action, musical, etc.) tailoring the performance to the owner’s taste. Inputs can even be renamed to match particular components.

Five Powerful AV Presets
While other AV receivers only offer one global setting for all sources, you can customize the T 748 for various systems or material (Blu-ray player, action movie, music, gaming, etc.) with specific speaker settings and surround modes. Another thoughtful touch is the ability to rename inputs to match your components.

More Music Options
iPod lovers can simply add the optional IPD 2 Dock, which shows song information on the T 757’s On Screen video display. Radio lovers will readily appreciate the T 757’s highly sensitive FM/AM tuner, 30 station presets, and RDS support.
