“CEDIA EXPO 2011 is going to be a very exciting show for us, with a number of new and innovative solutions lined up for visitors to our booth,” said Angie Larson, vice president of sales and marketing. “On display will be the most feature-rich version of our LiteWare programming software to date, our robust wireless system, and new solutions to bring the power and convenience of our lighting systems to Apple(R) devices — including the highly anticipated Keypad Studio app and Remote Access app with energy-saving features.”

New Products and Technologies on Display at CEDIA EXPO 2011:

LiteWare Version 4.1
At CEDIA, LiteTouch will provide demos of LiteWare 4.1, the latest version of the company’s proprietary Windows(R)-based design and programming software. The new LiteWare offers enhanced diagnostic features with the ability to track and log system activity over time; improves overall programming speed; and helps programmers keep track of and quickly adjust programming, which is duplicated on multiple buttons throughout the project. LiteWare 4.1 also includes a set-up tab for remote system access via iPhone(R)/iPad(R)/iPod touch(R), or via any smartphone with a Web browser. Demonstrations of LiteWare 4.1 will be hosted at the LiteTouch booth and manufacturer product training sessions.

Keypad Studio App
The LiteTouch Keypad Studio app — for iPhone(R), iPod touch(R), and iPad(R) — is a new tool that allows designers, dealers, and homeowners to create virtual representations of the countless keypad combinations available with a LiteTouch lighting control system. LiteTouch keypads are available in 32 finishes, ranging from rich oil-rubbed bronze and satin nickel to bold ocean and simple white. Using the Keypad Studio app, users can pair the faceplate finish with button, engraving, and LED color selections and see their design come to life. The Keypad Studio app is available now as a free download at the iTunes(R) App StoreSM.

Remote Access App for Apple(R) Devices, and Now All Smartphones
The LiteTouch Remote Access app provides total control of LiteTouch 5000LC and FIVEk lighting control systems — and all other integrated home systems — using an iPhone(R), iPad(R), or iPod touch(R). Support for connection via Wi-Fi, EDGE, or 3G networks enables control from in the home or anywhere in the world. The app’s “Save Energy” feature allows users to monitor their system’s energy use in real time, and turn off or dim lights instantly to lower consumption. An innovative “Keypad View” provides ease of use by displaying keypad layouts exactly as they appear on the wall of the home. The Remote Access app is available now as a free download at the iTunes(R) App StoreSM. In addition, LiteTouch will launch a mobile site in time for CEDIA to enable control over its lighting systems from all mobile devices.
