JBL Synthesis announces Roon Ready certification for its ‘modern classic’ integrated

JBL SA750 amplifier adopts Roon Ready

Northridge, CA. June 18, 2021 — In honor of its 75th anniversary, JBL infused the SA750 integrated amplifier with retro styling together with thoroughly modern features. JBL is now delighted to announce Roon Ready certification, cranking the SA750’s cutting-edge spec up another level and opening up further features to SA750 users.

Roon Ready exclusively applies to network devices that have Roon’s streaming technology built in, meaning that the SA750 transparently discovers and connects to Roon, without any configuration, to deliver bit-perfect audio. The JBL integrated has been certified by Roon Labs, working with the JBL, to provide the highest level of quality and performance in network streaming.

Confirmation of Roon Ready status for the SA750, in advance of its August 2021 retail launch, builds on the JBL machine’s already impressive list of audio talents. This beautifully finished piece of equipment – that milled aluminium face-panel and those teak panels draw directly from the memorable styling of JBL’s SA600 and SA660 amplifiers from the 1960s and 1970s – houses a class G amplifier that delivers 120W of power per channel into 8Ω; delivers streaming protocols including Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast; features a switchable MM/MC phono input; and offers Dirac Live room calibration for optimized performance in any listening room.

“The SA750 already has an impressive number of capabilities that set it apart from almost everything on the market,” commented Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy and Planning, HARMAN Luxury Audio. “Today’s confirmation of its Roon Ready status further elevates the SA750’s cutting-edge technology and unlocks more possibilities for our customers.”
