Focal, a recognized leader on the global stage for high fidelity products, announced today the launch of two new finishes for the Kanta No2, one of its most popular loudspeakers handcrafted in France.

White Kanta No2

Black Kanta No2

Now, the award-winning design can suit even more home interiors, with the launch of two new finishes: Carrara White and Black Lacquer/Walnut. The new finishes will come to the rest of the Kanta range in 2021.

Ideal for contemporary, design-led interiors, the new Kanta No2 in Carrara White is a slim, elegant design. It will replace the white front/black cabinet finish in the existing range.

The new Kanta No2 in Black Lacquer/Walnut brings a glossy option to Focal’s existing line-up of Matte walnut finishes. The Black Lacquer front panel combines beautifully with the walnut cabinet’s high-gloss varnish to create a stylish, sophisticated design that will suit both contemporary and traditional interiors.

These new finishes wrap around a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker totally dedicated to performance. Kanta No2 uses a unique combination of a new-generation IAL tweeter – featuring an inverted Beryllium dome – and Flax sandwich cone speaker drivers. (The Flax for the drivers grows locally to Focal in France.) The result is a precise, detailed and involving sound, plus the flexibility to suit both smaller rooms and larger spaces.
