David Wiener Collection Launches Art.Solista, New Audio-Enhancing Music Transmission System

DWC-Aphex Equipped Offering Enhances Digital Music Files and Effortlessly

Transforms Any Computer into a High-Quality Wireless Music System

CEDIA EXPO, ATLANTA, GA, Aug. 19, 2009 — The David Wiener Collection (DWC), a luxury line of audio, entertainment, furnishing and fashion offerings, introduces the Art.Solista USB Wireless Transmission System, an audio-enhancing transmission system that transforms any computer into a high-quality music system, during CEDIA EXPO 09.

The compact Art.Solista improves the sound of digital music files and allows users to wirelessly stream all the audio from their computers to any stereo system, A/V or Home Theater system, or powered speaker simply by plugging the Art.Solista transmitter into the computer’s USB port. To achieve this, Art.Solista uses DWC-Aphex® and DWC-Wireless®, DWC’s proprietary and exclusive audio enhancement circuitry and wireless technologies. DWC-Aphex brings compressed music files back to life with more spaciousness, detail and impact, while also improving the intelligibility of speech on news and talk programs, podcasts and audio books.

Art.Solista is compatible with all computers and transmits and enhances any audio (music and speech) that plays on a connected computer. This includes music libraries, CDs, DVDs, Internet radio, audio books, YouTube videos, and the like. Art.Solista creates a powerful wireless link between its USB transmitter

and an included wireless receiver, using DWC-Wireless, the highest quality wireless audio technology ever offered in a consumer product.

The DWC-Wireless circuitry harnesses Spread Spectrum technology, the best method of achieving effective communication in the 2.4GHz ISM band. A technique called Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) allows DWC-Wireless to provide consistent, stable, dropout-free connectivity, and the highest quality audio signal available.

DWC-Aphex technology was originally developed for the recording and broadcast industries, and used by top engineers and artists like James Taylor and Paul McCartney in mastering their albums. DWC-Aphex circuitry makes recorded music more “alive” by restoring the harmonics lost in compressed files. This makes the listening experience far more enjoyable as music’s natural brightness and range are restored, along with better clarity, detail and presence — just as the original artists intended.

When Art.Solista’s DWC-Aphex switch is turned on, the music immediately ascends into a powerful, spacious audio experience featuring a livelier sound, enhanced stereo imaging, deeper and more powerful bass, and a clarity never before heard from bit rate audio recordings.

Functional & Elegant

The Art.Solista system includes a compact USB transmitter and an equally compact receiver, with both elements fabricated to the highest standards. The transmitter, about the size of a paperback book, is machined from a solid block of T6 aluminum and hand polished and anodized for a gleaming finish. It adds an instant touch of technical elegance to any desktop, table or shelf. The Art.Solista receiver is also constructed of machined aluminum and hand-assembled.

Set-up takes about a minute. The transmitter needs no independent power supply, and draws its energy from whatever device it’s connected to. As a result, it can easily be moved to a favorite location, or shifted from one computer to another. A second receiver can be added to any system, enabling the transmitter to play music in more than one room.

As a DWC collectable, the Art.Solista assures its owners the highest quality, interference-free, wireless audio transmission system available, as well as the extraordinary DWC-Aphex music enhancing circuitry that restores life to bit-rate-reduced audio recordings, such as the digital music files used in computer music libraries.

The Art.Solista is available now to select Resellers and online at www.dwcollection.com at a suggested price of $999. It can be seen with other outstanding DW Collection products at Suite 1710, The Atlantic at Atlantic Station, 270 17th Street, during CEDIA. To arrange transportation, DWC National Sales Manager Kent Dimon can be reached at 404-213-9455 while the show is open.
