Come Help Us Celebrate 25 Years
As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary of Pass Laboratories, we reflect on 20 years of producing X amplifiers and preamplifiers, and more than 45 years of Nelson Pass’ designing & manufacturing audio. It has been a busy and productive time, marked by innovation and solid, reliable design — all of it in the service of superb music playback.
At Pass Labs we have a simple goal – to create products that invite you to listen. We want you to enjoy the experience so much that you go through your entire music collection – again and again, each time a revelation. We want music lovers for the long haul. To achieve this, we consistently work to develop and improve amplifiers that deliver great sound, measure well, and remain reliable over the years. Our primary test is listening — lots of listening. Oscilloscopes and distortion analyzers are excellent tools, and we value the information they deliver, but what our customers care about is the experience of being emotionally involved in the music.
As a company we improve through innovation, not by revolution. We like to build on solid foundations, and the products presented here are conservative extensions of earlier designs, dating back over 45 years of Nelson Pass’ amplifier designs. They represent a few new ideas, coupled with refinement of classic earlier approaches, and often new and better parts. We still happily provide service for everything we’ve made in the last 25 years. The result is that we keep our customers happy.
