FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. (NASDAQ SC: FCSE), a worldwide leader in video
production and conversion technology, announced that the FOCUS Enhancements
CenterStage line of video processors will be available this month at all Good
Guys locations. Good Guys (Nasdaq: GGUY) is one of the largest specialty
retailers of entertainment electronics in the nation and has 71 stores in
California, Nevada, Washington and Oregon.
"With the FOCUS Enhancements CenterStage video processors, our customers can get
the most out of their entertainment purchases and enjoy the vibrant picture
quality and resolution of digital television regardless of the video source,"

The CenterStage family of video processors function as resolution multipliers
and can dramatically improve the video quality of multiple source devices
through its ability to scale video to the full native resolutions supported by
any DTV-compatible monitor or display. Customers at the Good Guys can now choose
between the CenterStage CS-HD at $999.99, CS-1 at $1,999.99 or the top of the
line CS-2 at $2,499.99, based on their home theater entertainment needs. The new
CenterStage CS-HD model will be offered at all 71 locations, and the CS-1 and
CS-2 will be available for special order.

tech-savvy consumers makes them the ideal venue for bringing our video processor

The CenterStage Family:
The CenterStage CS-HD is the low-cost model to FOCUS Enhancements' family of
video processing systems and is designed specifically for HDTV monitors. The
CenterStage CS-1 is designed more for high-end home theater, corporate
presentation, training, rental, staging and digital signage applications that
require advanced plasma and projection displays. The CenterStage CS-2 adds HDCP/DVI
support, and time base correction. All models accept composite, S-Video, YPrPb,
RGB, 480/576p and scale these inputs to 480p, 720p, 1080i, or 1080p as required
by today's DTV-compatible LCD/DLP/ D-ILA projectors, high-resolution plasma
panels, and CRT/ LCD monitors. Outputs include: DVI, RGB or Component, 12-volt
screen trigger, and a HDTV pass-through.
All CenterStage models have full input and output geometric adjustments; 4:3,
16:9, and anamorphic aspect ratios, and support 3:2 pull down detection and
correction for viewing film-based sources. Picture adjustments include contrast,
brightness, saturation, sharpness and hue. Control choices include infrared
remote or front panel backlit switches. Each model has a two-year limited
