Significantly larger than the SB36512, the SB46514 starts off with a 46” sound bar with much higher quality drivers for its three main and two front Atmos channels. Plus, the dedicated surround speakers each sport an up-firing driver in addition to their front-facing driver, making the SB46514 a true 5.1.4 system. Speaking of the .1 channel, there is a newly designed 10-inch wireless sub included in the package as well. The SB46514-F6 system sports a full set of input connections as well as support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet connectivity. As is the norm, Google Chromecast and VIZIO’s SmartCast are supported for streaming and casting.

The VIZIO SB46514-F6 is more than just a slightly larger soundbar, subwoofer, and two additional height speakers. They’ve taken a much more “audiophile” route for the main front channels by using multiple independent drivers combined with additional passive radiators (left/right channels) and porting (center channel). Combined with the more potent subwoofer and additional rear height speakers, the SB46514 is a big step up in performance over VIZIO’s other models.
