Fluance, a proudly Canadian, internet-based HiFi company is known for its value-based approach to home audio. This approach has yielded a great line of speakers that both sound great and are easy on the wallet. A testament as such to the Signature Series, boasting a full range of speakers; from a 3-way floor-standing tower, a center, bipolar-surround and bookshelf speakers.

Fluance supplied me with their ‘Signature Series Hifi Two-Way Bookshelf Surround Sound Speakers which retail for just $249 CAD. $249!! There are two ways that these speakers can be enjoyed:

  1. As a Bookshelf Hifi Speakers or
  2. As a Surround Sound Speakers

The latter would make them part of a hefty looking home theater package.

These Bookshelf Speakers utilize 5” midrange drivers made of lightweight, woven glass fiber with a black pointed dome center which make the drivers look eerily like my B&W 685 S1’s. Taking care of the high-frequencies are ‘ultra-high-end’ Neodymium tweeters. The tweeters are flanked by dual tuned front bass reflex ports. The entire range is crafted from engineered MDF.

I happily set these up in both configurations and where I found them to be of best use was quite surprising. But you’ll have to wait until my full review to hear all the juicy details!
