The Walsh line of speakers is the direct descendant of a Lincoln Walsh omnidirectional design from the 70s. The company has dropped its dealers, and no longer advertises. Ohm Acoustics is now an internet-only company, but even with a new business plan, the Walsh line of speakers is still turning heads.

I was sent one of the middle-of-the-line stereo pairs and wanted to see what all the buzz was about. I’m a strong advocate of wide dispersion speakers and own a really good pair of planar speakers, so I was anxious to see how these speakers stack up in my room with my favorite music and movies.

I listened to many varieties of music, and some challenging movie audio, trying to see if I could capture the magic that Ohm Acoustics owners feel so strongly about.
