The C3 is NHT’s new flagship standmount speaker. It replaces NHT’s best-selling model, the Classic Three. NHT does not replace models on a whim: they introduced the Classic Three in 2005!

NHT C3

The NHT C3 is a true three-way speaker, which is rare at its size and price. The C3 loads its 6.5-inch woofer into an acoustic suspension (closed) box, rather than the usual bass reflex cabinet.

The midrange is a 2" aluminum dome, and the tweeter a 1" aluminum dome. Both aluminum domes are protected by plastic shields. The NHT C3’s cabinets are more elaborate and better finished that usual at their price point. Instead of a plain box, there are facets around the midrange and tweeter. NHT offers the C3 one finish: piano black.
