That’s what I set out to explore in my upcoming review of the Audioengine A2+ Wireless Speaker System. With a stereo pair, and each speaker only 6 inches tall, it’s no easy task to engineer something that will please a picky listener. Although the speaker is small, it is also feature rich, with all cables included, and both digital and analog inputs as well as streaming capabilities using Bluetooth.
The Audioengine A2+ speakers are designed as computer speakers, but I could also see them being used in a small bedroom to link to a Bluetooth source or even a bedside CD player or file streamer. The quality of the audio was surprising, and if you’re not insisting on the deepest bass from such small drivers, the low end was quite good. I had fun with the Audioengine A2+ Wireless Speaker System, and while testing them I could think of a lot of uses around the house, or even in my garage on my workbench.
