HIFIMAN Announces Headphone Models HE1000 V2 and Edition X V2

HIFIMAN is making the updates for HE1000 and Edition X Headphones with V2 designation available in September 2016 without a price increase. The update to V2 versions of HE1000 ($ 2,999.00 MSRP) and Edition X ($ 1,799.00 MSRP) will be shown at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Denver, Colorado, October 7-9, 2016

Styling and mechanical improvements define the V2 label to identify the HIFIMAN product improvement announcement. President & Founder, Dr. Fang Bian stated, “The V2 versions are lighter and more comfortable, better sounding and are enhanced cosmetically with a better fit and finish”

HE1000 V2 has been reduced to 420g and will ship with a three-core cable. The company is changing ear pad materials from velour to polyester, improved headband design, and slimmer ear cups.
