Hello, Secrets readers!

RMAF 2019 Coverage
CEDIA 2019 Coverage

I’m Carlo Lo Raso Senior Editor and Operations Manager here at Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity with news about some upcoming show coverage. This year, due to a certain confluence of events, we are presented with a bit of an “Audio Show Double-Header” so to speak. Rocky Mountain Audio Fest and CEDIA will both be in Denver this month and each show happens within days of the other. I shall be attending and reporting from RMAF from September 5th to the 8th at its new location at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center. This show is a popular one on the calendar and it’s always a treat to see and hear what is new and exciting in the world of 2-channel audio when RMAF rolls into Denver each year. Besides checking out the new product announcements, conducting some interviews and general reportage, I’ll also be curious to see how the show adapts to its new event location. A major change-up like this is usually fraught with challenges. Hopefully, things will proceed smoothly as usual and RMAF will continue to prosper in its new home.

Hot on the heels of RMAF, I’ll be moving downtown to attend CEDIA, which I will be reporting on from September 12th to the 14th. This year’s show will be held at the Colorado Convention Center here in Denver. While geared more toward the custom install segment, CEDIA also features a ton of home theater equipment, demos, and displays that are worth the attention of our readers. Look for a number of new home theater-related product announcements and several technology updates as well.

During and after both shows we will be posting coverage on to the Secrets Facebook page, so make sure to like our page to get regular show updates as come up. All the updates will be rolled over to the website shortly thereafter. If you’ve got any requests or suggestions of stuff for us to check out at either show, let us know by posting either on the site or on our Facebook page.

In the immortal words of Dr. Johnny Fever from WKRP in Cincinnati, “Sit right down, relax, open your ears real wide and say: Give it to me straight doctor, I can take it!”

See you in Denver!
