CES 2009 Day One

So I guess I jumped the gun when I said CES was packed. (For my personal taste, more then 5 people in a room is enough) It was only packed according to who had the latest model of whatever was on display. CES 2009 will definitely show lower numbers of attendees than in the past. But one thing is for sure. Home Theater and the latest electronics have a niche in the economy.

CES 2009

We are taking a different approach on our CES 2009 Show Report. We have asked our team to spend their time on overall impressions of the developments in hometheater and audio technology, take some pictures along the way, and identify the best products for our review team over the next few months.

We are very interested in the Blu-ray player offerings and this looks to be a good year for many new players. We will be amping up our reviews of these players now that there are many, good quality players, hitting the market.

Also, we are really interested in the 4k ultra high resolution TV technology and 3D TV Technology.

On the audio front, the wireless technology is of great interest, so we will be reporting on new developments here.

And we will be reporting on some special events that are embargoed at this time…….

If you have some questions about products or some of the technology you are hearing about, let us know….make a comment and we will forward to the coverage team!

So, beginning on Monday, look for our overall impressions and reports on these areas of interest and others as well. Also we will be posting all of the pictures beginning Monday, and through the week…but just to get started with a few pics……and comments…we did want to share a little of the Blu-ray player coverage….and remember, this is just a snapshot from Cynthia on the first day!!
