The JBL Project Everest DD66000 Loudspeaker won a CES Best of Innovations 2007 award. MSRP is $35,000 for each speaker. It is a horn design, so it is very efficient, meaning that you could use it with low powered single ended triode tube amps. Apparently, Japanese consumers are snapping these speakers up already. One person bought five of them for a surround sound system.
