SECRETS Coverage of CES begins today.......Thursday!! We are most interested to see what is being showcased at CES 2010. Last year the attendance was down both by the exhibitors and attendees. So everyone is waiting to see what this year brings in attendance. And this year as well as last, the exhibitors are really spread out, between official CES venues like the Venetian and Convention center and many other locations. So many exhibitors from the past have opted to hold private showings in the many hotels in Las Vegas. Tracking all of the latest goodies is a huge challenge! T.H.E. Show is located in the Flamingo this year, so will be more accessible for attendees as the Flamingo is not too far from the Venetian. The Venetian is the setting for the High-end Audio exhibits....Piero Gabucci will be leading the reporting from the Venetian.....he has arrived from the East Coast, so hopefully the nice weather will hold in Las Vegas and give Piero a break from the storms in the East...not that he will be outside much!! Ross Jones and Stephen Hornbrook will be covering the main convention center venues, before joining Piero at the Venetian. Stephen is "on assignment" to scope out and report on the 3D TV developments, here now and coming. Based on the early reports from the conferences held yesterday, the day before the show floor opened, there are many developments this year, compared to last.......the early success of Avatar has convinced the manufacturers that there is a market here!!
Cynthia arrived Wednesday, taxi lines were long as usual......a good sign maybe. Her plate is full with coverage of our sponsors and a number of special events.
