Media Center Integrator Alliance Offers Case Studies to Charter Members

Looking to promote and highlight Media Center ecosystem installations, MCIA extends opportunity for integrators to have projects profiled

October 16, 2008 – Beaverton, OR — The Media Center Integrator Alliance (MCIA) announces a new offer for integrators wishing to join the group as a charter Participant level member. To further drive adoption and raise awareness of the Media Center ecosystem, MCIA is seeking to complete case studies on installation projects that use ecosystem products. The charter offer includes membership through December 31, 2009 and an opportunity to participate in laying MCIA’s foundational groundwork in the future.

This offer affords charter Participant level integrators the opportunity to showcase their installations and deployments. By submitting a project for consideration, integrators will receive a one-page case study including analysis of the electronic design system used and how it has helped or improved the customers’ overall vision for their home. In addition, they will also receive information on how to promote the completed case study in their regional market and use for sales and promotional purposes.

“Through this case study offer, we are hoping to entice integrators not only to join MCIA in its beginning phase but also to promote Media Center ecosystem installation projects already being completed by integrators throughout the industry,” said Kevin Collins, Chairman of the Board and President of MCIA.

In order to take advantage of this opportunity, interested integrators must sign up to become a charter Participant level member of MCIA by November 30, 2008. Comprised of some of the industry’s top companies, MCIA was founded to provide both integrators and manufacturers with best practices and training for technologies using Media Center. As a central gathering point for the Media Center movement, MCIA hopes to attract the interest, acceptance and participation of both integrators and manufacturers in the industry.
