Lawrence, Kansas – September 26, 2017 – MartinLogan is proud to announce that their top hybrid electrostatic loudspeaker models will be available for demonstration for three days during the 14th annual Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF) 2017, which runs from October 6 to 8, 2017. RMAF is the largest consumer audio and home entertainment show in the United States, featuring 160 exhibit spaces representing more than 400 companies. Located in the Denver Marriott Tech Center in Denver, Colorado RMAF attendees will be able to hear live demonstrations of MartinLogan’s Neolith, Renaissance ESL 15A, and Expression ESL 13A speakers.
The MartinLogan Neolith is the culmination of over 30 years of MartinLogan passion, engineering innovation and dedication to the ultimate truth in sound. Winner of Product of the Year awards from The Absolute Sound, TONEAudio, Everything Audio Network, and other prestigious audio/video publications, Neolith is one of the most captivating loudspeakers ever brought to market. Neolith features one of MartinLogan’s largest electrostatic radiating surfaces, fully 35 percent larger than the legendary Statement E2 electrostatic speaker. Neolith also features two substantial woofers. The front-firing 12-inch mid-bass woofer boasts an extremely low moving mass relative to its size. On the back of the Neolith is a 15-inch bass woofer playing beneath 60Hz. Neolith’s exclusive advanced-topology Vojtko™ Crossover uses hand-selected components for optimum power handling.
Musical Surroundings will be using the MartinLogan Neolith ($79,995/pair US MSRP) to demonstrate three of their turntable systems at various price points. The first features the Clearaudio Master Innovation with a top-of-the-line linear arm and Goldfinger cartridge retailing for $92,500 (US MSRP). The third, featuring the new Clearaudio Concept Black turntable and tonearm with a Hana SL cartridge (also a recent recipient of The Absolute Sound’s Golden Ear award), and the new Musical Surroundings SuperNova III phono stage, comes in at $7,550 (US MSRP). The MartinLogan Neolith will be powered using an Audio Research Reference preamplifier and phono stage driving their most powerful Reference 750 SE monoblock amplifiers along with an Audio Research compact disc player/DAC. Cabling will be provided by MIT (Music Interface Technologies), rack by HRS (Harmonic Resolution Systems), and acoustical treatments from ASC Tube Traps.
