The HiFiMAN HM-700 adopts an integrated design where the screen and control keys are cleverly disguised for a clean, uncluttered appearance. Yet the player’s intuitive user interface is easy to set up and operate. For added convenience, the HM-700 is compact measuring a mere four inches by two inches and less than a half inch high. Weight without ear-phones, is just less than three ounces so the user will hardly know they have the player with them.

For extended playback time, the HM-700 utilizes a Lithium battery, which will last up to fifteen hours between recharging. When re-charging is necessary, that can be easily accomplished via the player’s USB port to any PC using the supplied USB cable.

According to HiFiMAN Founder and President, Dr. Fang Bian, “Starting with our HM-801 many years ago, HiFiMAN pioneered the high-res portable music player and we are still a category leader around the world. Though we are mostly known for state-of-the-art high performance players, we also had requests for a player that was compact, super light, easy to use and affordable. The HM-700 is our answer and with its balanced output it produces an impressive soundstage with great musicality.”

Dr. Bian went on to add, “To make the player even more exciting, we include a balanced version of our RE-400 in-ear phone. The RE-400 has had outstanding reviews and is considered one of the best in-ear phones in its class. By combining RE-400 and HM-700 together, the customer is assured that they will have a perfectly matched player and earphone.
