February 24, 2010 – For Immediate Release

Showcasing the latest and most advanced home theater audio and audiophile products from Revel, Mark Levinson, Lexicon and JBL Synthesis, Harman is bringing its mobile showroom to the Architectural Digest Home Design Show in March

ELKHART, Indiana – Featuring one audiophile display room and one fully functioning home theater display, Harman’s Mobile Showroom has been touring the country for the last five months showcasing its high performance technologies to audiophiles, enthusiasts and dealers. This March, the showcase will be making a stop at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show in New York City, displaying its award winning products from Revel, Mark Levinson, Lexicon, and JBL Synthesis at the four-day exhibition.

In creating the mobile showroom, Harman worked closely with custom installation firms and contacted architects and interior design professionals to ensure that each display represents the pinnacle of both AV performance and aesthetic design.

The audiophile room, which is the first thing seen and heard when entering the mobile showroom, features a 2-channel audio setup with Mark Levinson No53 Amplifiers, a Mark Levinson No326S Preamplifier and a Mark Levinson No512 CD/SACD Player powering two Revel Ultima Salon2 speakers. The home theater room consists of an entire JBL Synthesis set up, including JBL K2S9900’s for mains, S4Ai for surrounds, four JBL Synthesis S820 amplifiers, a Lexicon BD-30 Blu-ray Player and a top-notch HD projector screen.

“For over five months, our mobile showroom has been making stops all around the country, introducing many people to our award winning home theater technologies at conventions, exhibitions and our own Harman events,” said Marc Kellom, VP Marketing, Harman High Performance Audio/Video. “With our 7,500 square foot truck, people get much more than they would by simply reading about our products in a magazine or seeing them on TV; they get to see, hear, and feel what a complete home theater experience is like, first hand.”

Harman’s Mobile Showroom set out from CEDIA Expo in Atlanta, GA in September of 2009 and has made over 13 appearances to date. From Thursday, March 18th-21st, the showroom will be exhibiting at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show at Pier 94 in Manhattan, located at 55th Street near the West Side Highway. With over 300 premium brands exhibiting along with the Mobile Showroom, it offers attendees a great opportunity to sample some of the most high-end, high quality home design products on the market.

“For four days, our Mobile Showroom will offer attendees a chance to see and hear one of the most complete home A/V setups in New York,” continued Kellom. “I’d encourage anyone who has an interest in high-end home A/V equipment to stop by and experience it for themselves.”
