Bluesound launches Spotify Connect: Hassle-free wireless HiFi Living

Pickering, Ontario, June 24, 2014 — Bluesound, the first wireless digital multi-room system to fully support High Res Audio, is pleased to introduce Spotify Connect to its expanding collection of digital music services. With the upcoming software release, Bluesound owners all over the world can now enjoy Spotify’s new home audio experience with simple hassle-free music control and instant access to Spotify’s curated playlists, personalized radio, and vast catalogue of music in any room of the house. Spotify Connect can also be streamed to multiple Bluesound Players simultaneously in the home, making for an even richer multi-room audio experience.

Through the introduction of Spotify Connect to Bluesound, customers can enjoy over 20 million songs, easily streamed to Bluesound’s HiFi music Players through a home network, either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, with simple control on any iOS or Android device. Spotify Premium subscribers who want true high-performance fidelity will be able to start streaming Spotify Connect on Bluesound Players on July 1, 2014. Users will need to upgrade their Bluesound Players to software version 1.10.0 or higher and download the updated iOS App v1.10.0 or Android App v1.10.0 to be able to experience Spotify Connect on Bluesound.
