AVAD Expands Presence in Canada with New Ca??ary Facility

AVAD’s 21,362 square-foot Ca??ary location will include approximately 4,680 square feet of showroom space. It will house a classroom training facility, multiple display areas, a dedicated theater room to display AVAD’s latest technologies and products and ample warehouse space—all advantages that make up AVAD’s trademark service. The Ca??ary facility is located at Bay 12, 7115 48th Street SE in Ca??ary, Alberta. Dealers are invited to visit the location beginning Monday, May 5th.

The new Ca??ary location marks AVAD’s second undertaking in Canada. AVAD’s Toronto facility, located at 205 Courtneypark Drive West, Suite 103 in Mississauga, Ontario, was recently unveiled in January.

AVAD’s new location brings the industry’s most respected and recognized brands, in-depth product and category training, the widest selection in various disciplines (audio, video, lighting controls, home automation and more) and an expert sales staff to give live integration, system design, application and technical support to western Canada.

An additional benefit of AVAD’s new Ca??ary facility is the accessibility it will provide to dealers. Local dealers will have a convenient pick-up area, while AVAD will ship products to dealers in the western Canadian markets from the new location.

Spearheading AVAD’s venture into Canada, Deena Ghazarian, project director for AVAD-Canada, has lead the company’s market entry and execution. She is focused on building strong B2B relationships with dealers, while affording vendors the ability to expand their presence in the Canadian marketplace.

A four-year member of the AVAD team, Merlin Love will oversee the debut of the Ca??ary facility as branch manager of the Ca??ary location.
As sales manager for Canada, Scot Kerek will be the primary sales contact for the company in the Canadian marketplace. He will also work in selecting AVAD’s business partners.
