Preview: JBL makes a dizzying array of products, from personal wireless earbuds to car audio for Ferrari to concert line-array speakers.

One of its (relatively) small product lines is JBL Synthesis, a sub-brand focused on custom home theater and audiophile sound. Borrowing heavily from the much-acclaimed M2 Master Reference Monitor, the 4367 Studio Monitors aim to bring a similarly high level of sonic accuracy into the home arena.

The styling is classic JBL: a massive single cabinet design with a large, front facing 15-inch Differential Drive® woofer (taken nearly untouched from the M2) on the bottom, and a 3-inch dual diaphragm, dual voice coil driver attached to JBL’s High Definition Imaging (HDI™) waveguide horn on top. The 4367 also features high frequency and ultra-high frequency trim controls on the front panel that facilitate optimal sonic adjustment in any room.
