Epson announced today two new projectors for the 4k market: Pro Cinema 6040UB and Pro Cinema 4040. Epson is an international corporation that offers a wide range of products to the consumer and industrial markets. Consumers are most familiar with Epson inkjet printers, digital printing systems, 3LCD projectors and smart glasses.

Epson Adds Two 4k Projectors

The new Pro Cinema 6040UB and Pro Cinema 4040 feature 4K Enhancement Technology and are Epson’s first Pro Cinema projectors with 4K UHD signal input and high dynamic range (HDR) support. 4K Enhancement Technology shifts each pixel diagonally by 0.5 pixels to double the resolution to 3840 x 2160 and surpass Full HD image quality. Resolution is 1920 x 1080 in 3D Mode.

Pro Cinema 4040

The Pro Cinema 6040UB and Pro Cinema 4040 are being introduced at the New York CE Week, June 21-23. These projectors are expected to be available in August: Pro Cinema 6040UB (MSRP $3,999) and 4040 (MSRP $2,699)
